Big Hearted Person Tata Ratan Naval is An Indian Industrialist who is also chairman of Tata & Sons. They are mostly known for big-hearted nature. They are also known for their love regarding their country and nation. Whenever India in need they take 1st step and help it out their way. Ratan Tata got Padma Bhushan in the year 2000 and Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
Big Hearted Person Tata ratan naval was Born in 28th Dec. 1937, in Mumbai (Bombay in British India) in Parsi Family. Their Father name is “Naval Tata”. Ratan Tata’s maternal grandmother had been the sister of Hirabai Tata who was the wife of “Jamshedji Tata” (group founder of Tata co.) therefore, Ratan Tata was a Tata by birth.
Till the 8th class, they studied at the Campion School, Mumbai followed by Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai and at Bishop Cotton School in Shimla and then in 1955, they graduated from Riverdale Country School in New York City. In 1959, they then received a degree in Architecture from Cornell University, New York. Further, in 1975, they attended the seven-week Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School
They were promoted to management in 1970. In 1991, when they settled down into the new role, they faced stiff resistance from many company heads. They start replacing them by setting a retirement age, and then made individual companies annual report operationally to all the group office and made each contribute some their profit to build and use the Tata group brand. Innovation was given priority by Tata Co. and younger talent was influenced and given responsibilities. In 21 years, They led the Tata Group, Under their stewardship revenues grew over 40 times, and profit grows over 50 times. Where sales of the group as a whole, They boldly got Tata Tea to acquire Tetley, Tata Motors to acquire Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Steel to acquire Corus.
All this turned Tata from a largely India-centric group into a global business, with over 65% revenues coming from operations and sales in within 100 countries throughout the world. He conceptualised the Tata Nano car. In 2015, He explained in an interview for the Harvard Business School’s Creating Emerging Markets project, the development of the “Tata Nano” was significant because it helped out to put cars at a price-point within the reach of the average Indian customer.
In 2011, Ratan Tata said in an interview that, “I came seriously close to getting married four times and each time I backed off in fear or for one reason or another“

When Ratan tata put their foot in the car business, they made a huge loss in their business. Hence they decided to trade his car business to “Ford Motors” Because that time Ford Motors was leading company in the Car business market through-out the world. But in the meeting “Bill Ford”(The Chairman Of Ford Motors) insulted Ratan Tata in the words that, “How can you Indians even think to enter in this Business? It’ll be a favour if we buy this business from you”. That words of Bill Ford hurts Ratan Tata and they left the meeting by quitting decision of selling his company.
They made a big decision of running a business again. After some years the same situation occurs “Ford Motors” was in trouble and face terrible loss in the car business and them about to shut down. At that time Ratan Tata brought “Jaguar-Land Rover” from “Ford Motors” in 93,000 Crore and prove that Indians can do anything they want because they serve power to become a businessman.
