Missile Man Of India – Abdul Kalam’s full name Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam father named Jainulabdeen was a boat owner and imam of a local mosque in Rameswaram at Pamban Island. Their mother named Ashiamma was a housewife.


In 15 Oct. 1931 at Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, India. Died at 27 July 2015, in Indian Institute of Management Shilong. (The 7th institute which established in India) Meghalaya, India

Indian scientist who played a major role in the development of India’s  missile and nuclear missile/weapon programmes. Indian Politician who becomes President of India in year 2002 to 2007. Becoming the 1st head of state in India to fly in a fighter aircraft and making dream true in the age 74. A newspaper vendor boy who make all nation pride in nuclear and missile testing.


Indian Scientist and Former President Of India in (2002-2007) who also known as missile man of India who successfully made many missiles and nuclear weapons. As born in poor family Abdul Kalam use to sell newspaper and supplements for his family. In their school days, they were average student with average grades but they were described as a bright and hardworking student with a strong desire to learn. They use to do hours in study, especially in Maths. They narrowly missed achieving their dream of becoming a fighter pilot, because they placed deadline on ninth in qualifiers, and only eight positions were available in the IAF(Indian Air Force). But they won’t give up on their dream. They live their dream and achieved in june 2003 at the age 74, becoming the 1st head of state in India to fly in a fighter aircraft.

Missile Man Of India – Abdul Kalam was served as the Chief Scientific Adviser to the Prime Minister and Secretary of the DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) from Jul. 1992 to Dec. 1999. During this period The Pokhran-II nuclear tests were conducted in which they played an intensive technological role. Kalam served as the Chief Project Coordinator,  with R. Chidambaram, during the testing phase. 

Missile Man Of India – Abdul Kalam played a major role in developing many missiles along with nuclear missions including “Project Devil” (as one of two early liquid-fueled missile projects developed in India, to produce a short-range which targets from the surface to air missile. Project Devil led to the later development of the “Prithvi missile” in the year 1980) “Project Valiant”(The goal was to produce an intercontinental ballistic missile), “Agni”, an intermediate-range ballistic missile and “Prithvi Missile”,(targeted surface to surface missile).

Dr. Abdul Kalam was the 3rd President of India to being honoured with a Bharat Ratna,

They were also the 1st  scientist and the 1st bachelor to sworn at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

They wrote a book named “Transcendence my spiritual experience” with Pramukh swami who is a spiritual leader and guru in BAPS Organization. In This book, they expressed their vision for a society in which science and spirituality were fused.

While delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong, Dr Abdul Kalam suddenly collapsed on the floor. And died from an apparent cardiac arrest on 27 Jul. 2015, at the age of 83. they buried with full state of honours.
