New India’s response to the world at Tokyo Olympics 2020
Breaking the global record, India was the most active and loudest country in the world during the Games, according to Facebook. Besides receiving only 7 Medals overall (1+2+4) in the Olympics game Indian’s were witnessing the game and cheering our athletics. This clearly proves that the hope of Indians at Olympics 2020 is much stronger than any other country. And finally after years we also have prepared our mindset to not only win but to conquer.
The Tokyo Olympics 2020, which ran from 23rd July 2021 to 8th August 2021, India was the most active and loudest country in the world. According to Facebook, they received the most engagement on the platform from Indian users during the Tokyo Games. The above data was shared by Facebook after Tokyo 2020.

After India there were many countries like the United States, Brazil, Philippines and Mexico in the list. But the interesting and main thing is that Neeraj Chopra the Gold medalist in Javelin throw was the second and most mentioned athlete globally.
While the first place was occupied by Simone Biles, an American artistic gymnast. Then Neeraj Kumar and after some athletes including Hidilyn Diaz, Suni Lee and Tom Daley were also in the list of the most-mentioned athletes on Facebook during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Games.
Instagram (Facebook’s another social media company) further stated that in terms of followers of the Indian athletes, Neeraj Chopra gained the most followers on Instagram during the Olympic Games.
Not only this, Olympic Gold winner Neeraj Chopra’s Instagram account surged to 1,900% jump in followers, and now he has more than 3.2 million followers. After Neeraj Chopra, PV Sindhu and boxer Mary Kom stood at the second and third position, respectively.
So that’s all about new Indian’s love toward Olympic Games and their athletes and Indians at Olympics 2020.
