Bal Gangadhar is largely known as ‘Lokmanya Tilak’. Tilak was a teacher, Revolutionary Leader and Independence activist and strongest Advocate.
He was born on 23rd July of 1856 in Chikali Village of Maharashtra State. Tilak born in the middle-class Brahmin family. His father was a teacher named as ‘Gangadhar Tilak’ and hence as he was the son he was named as “Bal Gangadhar tilak”. Bal Gangadhar Tilak obtains LLB degree in the year 1879 and is the strongest advocate of all time.
Bal Gangadhar is also is known for his work of starting ‘Ganpati Festival’ a holy festival for all Indians. This festival is for worshipping of god “Ganesha”
Tilak was also known as “The father of Indian unrest” through British authorities.
Bal Gangadhar Tilak was the ‘1st leader of Indian Independence Moment’.
