Dr. Ella is the MD & Chairman of Bharat Biotech International Limited, which he incorporated back in 1996.

A gold medalist at university, Dr Krishna Ella was born in a poor family of farmers in Tamil Nadu, India. He won a scholarship and went to study in the United States at an early age. He gets his PhD degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

They are now WHO’s (World Health Organization’s) prequalified provider of vaccines for polio.
