Amit Shah is an Indian politician currently serving as the Minister of “Home Affairs of India” or “Home Minister of India”. He worked as the President of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) from the year 2014 to 2020. And he currently stands with Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) i.e. BJP party. Since the year 1989, Amit Shah fought a total number of 28 elections to various local bodies where there are the least number where he lost. And the great part is that he always scores 60% of the total figures. Amit Shah birth date was 22 October 1964 In Mumbai City Of Maharashtra State.

Amit Shah full named as “Amit Anilchandra Shah”. Amit Shah Birth Date Was 22 October 1964 In Mumbai City Of Maharashtra State. He came from a Gujarati Hindu family. His family lies in Hindu Vaishnava family. And they were Baniyas (Baniya is an Indian caste consisting generally for moneylenders or merchants. They are mainly found chiefly in northern and western India). His father named was AnilChandra Shah. They were a businessman from Mansa (a small state in Gandhinagar, Gujrat), owned a successful ‘PVC Pipe’ business. Shahji completed his schooling in Mehsana (District in Gujrat State) and moved to Ahmedabad to complete further studies for biochemistry at “CU Shah Science College”. They graduated with a BSc. degree in biochemistry and then run his father’s PVC Pipes business. Amit shah worked as a stockbroker and in co-operative banks in Ahmedabad.

He was elected from the lower house of Parliament i.e. ‘Lok Sabha’ and in the year 2019 he elected ‘Indian general elections’ from “Gandhinagar” city in Gujrat.

Earlier, he had been elected as a member of the upper house of Parliament i.e. ‘Rajya Sabha’, from Gujarat in the year 2017.

He take vow at the age of 54, he is the ‘Youngest Serving Full-time Home Minister of India’. He is the chief strategist of the BJP party and a close Aide / Friend of Narendra Modi (Currently serving as Prime Minister of India).

During his college days, Amit Shah was a member of the ABVP (Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad), the student wing of RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh). At the age of 18, he secured his position in the ABVP (Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad)  and joined the BJP party in the year 1987.

Starting his Political Career

Amit Shah was first elected from Gujarat state as the MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly, India) for a seat partly covering city Ahmedabad and Sarkhej in the year 1997. He continued hold position it in the year 1998, 2002 and 2007 elections until the seat’s dissolution in the year 2008; he then got elected from the nearby Naranpura in the 2012. As a close associate of Chief Minister Narendra Modi, he held executive portfolios in the Gujarat state government.

Amit Shah was the BJP Party’s in-charge for India’s largest and politically most crucial state i.e. Uttar Pradesh, during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP party and its allies won 73 out of 80 seats in it. As a result, Amit Shah rose toward national prominence and appointed as the party’s national president in July 2014.

He has played an organizing and membership-promotional role in the elections of many states since the year 2014. In his initial two years of career in politics, the BJP party achieved success in Legislative Assembly elections in Maharashtra state, Haryana state, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand and Assam but lost main ground in Delhi and the large eastern state of Bihar in the year 2015.

In the year 2017, he was partly credited with the party victories in Uttar Pradesh state, Uttarakhand state as well as Gujarat and Manipur. But the Akali-BJP alliance lost power in the larger Punjab state election. In the year 2018, the party lost power in the states of Chhattisgarh state, Rajasthan state and Madhya Pradesh state. Shah was involved with RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) since childhood. Amit also takes part in neighbourhood shakhas (branches) as Narendra Modi use to take as a boy in childhood. He formally became an RSS swayamsevak (volunteer) during his college days in Ahmedabad city. Shah first met Narendra Modi in the year 1982 through the Ahmedabad city RSS circles. At that time, Modi was a RSS Pracharak (propagator), working as in-charge of youth activities in the various cities.
